The Smart Cop Series

We often hear about criminal cases that have resulted in a mistrial, or in which the accused was found not guilty due to dockets that have gone missing or police incompetence, or in which   crime scenes have been messed up and sufficient evidence was not collected. In our effort of providing solutions, rather than criticism, we at SERVAMUS have decided to feature a column in which a senior prosecutor, Adv Zaais van Zyl, assisted in identifying and addressing these problems to ensure more convictions.
