Drugs and drug abuse are not limited to street corners or those who are looking for ways to escape reality. They infiltrate our lives in other ways, such as on the sports field with athletes using performance-enhancing drugs or children turning to vaping to curb their anxiety levels. In the June 2024 issue of Servamus we explore the areas of drug use not commonly talked about and give recognition to the work of SANEB (the Hawks) who are doing their utmost best to stop drugs from reaching our neighbourhoods.
