Violence has become entrenched in many aspects of our society with many individuals who have no respect for other people’s lives. These include rogue political actors who react violently when someone stands in their way of accessing political office; and corrupt individuals who will arrange “hits” on the lives of those who fight corruption. Community members are also not far behind when using violence to draw attention to their plight and rights for basic services.
