The Byrna SD is powered by a 8-gram CO2 canister and shoots .68 calibre round kinetic (solid balls) as well as Chemical Irritant Projectiles that are filled with Teargas and Pepper powder. These ball shape chemical projectiles burst open on impact, forms a pepper and teargas cloud, that when inhaled can incapacitate a threat.
