With the December holidays looming, road safety campaigns will increase, with good reason.

Many of us view speeding as a major contributor to road crashes, but let’s be honest: distractions, including our cellphones while driving or applying makeup, are increasingly contributing to crashes. Add irresponsible pedestrians, an onslaught of trucks and frustrated drivers who take out their frustrations on others to the “road equation” and our roads are no longer safe.
